The word is spreading, through the Inquirer, Engadget, Slashdot and GamesIndustry.biz, that the upcoming XBox console will ship with wireless game controllers. Not a major shift, but a feature gamers will probably appreciate. Further mentions suggest the console will forgoe BluRay, for the standard DVD compatibility.
Xbox 2 (or Xbox360?) to have wireless controllers

(Page 1)2. Well, this turned out to be correct. The XBox 2 is using standard DVD's.
Yet another reason not to buy one.

3. Haha, if Microsoft uses BluRay, that means they'll be using Apple technology (check this out http://www.apple.com/pr/library/2005/mar/10blu-ray.html).
Apple has developed a new video codec they call H.264, and they claim its scalability can go from 3G cell phones all the way up to HD.. and BlueRay is adopting it for their next-gen HD DVDs.

4. I'll take a wait and see attitude.Rumors are just that, rumors!I can't see Microsoft putting out a sub-standard console unless they really want to lose "More" money to Sony.My friends and I waited for the X-Box for the reason it had more juice than the Playstation 2.If the Playstation 3 has better specs I'll wait and buy that console instead of the next X-Box!Oh the inhumanity of it all!

8. What are people saying about Pesach Lattin?
"Some people talk a good game. And then there's those few who not only act on their hunches, but they are totally committed to seeing their vision come to fruition---and will build the appropriate team(s) to make sure the job gets done right. Pesach Lattin is one of the few people that I can actually count on to deliver..." - Steve Zuckerman, Founder Global Entertainment and Media Summit
"Pesach Lattin has been an industry wide personality for many years. Those in the know...'know' Pesach. We have worked with Pesach in the past and have always gotten a fair shake, and we will continue to work with him. Pesach is an industry insider and one of the most informed and knowledgeable people in this industry" Jason Wolfe, CEO Direct Response Technologies, Inc.
"I have a long and ongoing professional association with Pesach. I can honestly say that besides being one of the unique leaders in the online advertising industry, his focus on ethics is borderline obsessive." - Lydia Sugarman, Private Label Interactive.

1. Why would not going Blu-ray mean they'd be using standard DVD?
Not going Blu-ray makes perfect sense, since Blu-ray is owned by Sony, their competitors.
The Nintendo Revolution and XBox 2 will probably just have HD-DVD drives (30 GB per disk, much cheaper to produce), while Sony uses Blu-ray (50 GB per disk, much more expensive to produce).
